I'm pretty sure that this upsetting incident has been a rude awakening for the many ignorant and complacent beings.

What would actually stimulate such a cold-hearted action, to pull the trigger dozens of times, to take away innocent lives? How can we prevent such a tragedy from happening again? We never know when and where and how it would happen? Where can we go and be safe? All this questions would definitely re-surface time and time again, even after countless of tragedies in the world.

Rather intriguing. In light of this event, it got me thinking on what is really important in life. Does it take yet another tragedy for us to realise this? We would then make promises to love, to be apppreciative of one another, to treat our loved ones with more respect and the list goes on. However, when normality/busy schedules return, all these is forgotten. Sighhh. Why wait for such incidents to 'love'? We dont wanna live a life with 'what ifs' right?

Life is just a cycle of all this events and there is nothing much we can do about it. Only so much can be done to limit the destructions but in the end, we too, are unsure of what may or may not occur. The aftermath of this event seems to be reminding us of the importance 'to love'. I believe through living a life of love, we can leave this world without regrets.

This verse just kept re-playing itself in my mind for the past few days. I know it's never easy to take up that cross and to follow after him, to cease all desires just to submit to him? But in submitting to him, do we then realise how selfish and empty the temporal world really is.The importance in seeking him? 'to taste and see that the lord is good', amidst the daily ravages.

Explains my boredom for now, so here goes:

intensive studying earlier in the day with Sher,Cher and their friends.
Kinda missed those two so i decided to make a trip down to SIM to accompany them as they mugg hard for their papers.i totally understand the immense stress that they're going through. press on ya? the gloomy month's coming to an end real soon. So, embrace this struggle!!

On a less morose note, i would be going shopping with Val, Mel and Tonia tmr : ) My Therapeutic agents : ) still contemplating whether i should purchase the colourful toga top from future state? or another pair of dark drainpipes?or the red shorts from myphosis? hmmm.. we'll see how it goes tmr. Most probably, it'll be the cheaper buy, yayyy!! Then, it'll be Mothership at Jalan merbok in the evening. Looking forward to a great weekend of splendour, before i start mugging once again on Monday.

Exams commence next week!!! This means tt my nie-raid has to start soon!! A job interview for 'business development trainee' at some 'ulu' company tomorrow, followed by steamboat at Tiong Bahru with the uni gang! I pray that all goes well. It would be a start somewhere i guess. i need to get exposed to interviews at the very least. Gotta be confident and uphold the image of NBS. hohoho.

It was Ryan's baptism on EasterSunday at St Jo's in Victoria Street!!!! a very longgg mass but a meaningful and wonderful ceremony for my dearest friend!! : ) congrats and welcome to the catholic faith dude. Must be one of your greatest gifts ever!! Continue to find that inspiration and strength in the Lord always.
