This verse just kept re-playing itself in my mind for the past few days. I know it's never easy to take up that cross and to follow after him, to cease all desires just to submit to him? But in submitting to him, do we then realise how selfish and empty the temporal world really is.The importance in seeking him? 'to taste and see that the lord is good', amidst the daily ravages.

i know i would still want to be a woman after God's own heart : )
