Its true. Men swoop down like vultures when we are weak & vulnerable. We really gotta be aware at how harsh reality can be. Not being a pessimist here, but its etched in our minds that we need someone to complete our life? is that true? Fill yourself up women!! hohoho

it was about this Cassanova con-man who fooled 8 women into marriage!!!
How horrific right!
They were just living a lie and that's why they attract liars all these while!!
They needed the 'security' and MAN in their life! haha

A well-spent Saturday at Sentosa, Palawan Beach with the girls,

Val, Ant, Lyn & Flo.

It was a real fruitful session as we did personal indepth sharings with each other.

My gratitude & thanks extend out to Flo for actually taking the effort to get the girls down tog for this personal sharing session.

I was glad that each one of us managed to open up and to talk about each other's flaws & strengths,our thoughts on ministry life, learning frm mistakes and to sort out disputes that were induced during these 4yrs.

The capacity of a woman's heart for meaningful r/ships is VAST!

A woman MUST have women Friends!

There is always great loyalty between women friends but a fiery devotion and a fierce jealousy may take place too.

Friendships need to be nurtured and guarded and fought for.

Our friendships flow in the deep waters of the heart where god dwells and transformations takes place.

We NEED to pay attention to each other, really see and care for one another

That truly is the greatest gift.

It has strengthened and moved our friendships to deeper levels.

My Saturday was indeed a memorable and meaningful experience for me!!!

Lunch was at marina food court with Chia Yong who is just a contract staff for 2mths,even shorter than mine. haha...a rather chatty and funny guy!

Had the indonesian grilled chicken set, wasn't all that fantastic,prefer the one at Far east though, under lil' Lyn's recommendations.

Back to work once again, doing some research for my supervisor and browsing the net simultaneously. And the continuous reply-ing of mails and non-work mails from the babes. haha.. Keep it coming in, he have 2 days left

3 hrs more to go before i meet Vict n Lyn!!! Chia is on 3 days leave! Lucky ass! gotta run some errands and get some swiss chocs and gifts for my colleagues later : )

Reached office at 8am today! amazed at how early i could get.
But there was no one in sight to greet at that hr.
Finally managed to wake up at 2am for the match.
Realised it would be the last match in 4yrs.
Thus, had to make the effort!
Chialiyi! You were supposed to organize a day where we all cld catch the world cup tog!
Glad Italy won though, French were the ones that kicked Brazil n Portugal out!!

Sunday:
Met Lil' baby Zac Shaw Puna! (1st greatgrandchild from dad's side)
It was his baptism at Olps, followed by dinner at Liane's place.
Fine gathering and it was good to see gramps,who has finally returned from India.
Been eons since i last saw him n he has definitely aged quite a bit : (
just some catching up with the cousins!

Expenses that killed me this month:
120 on my skincare
90 for driving,just this wk man!
39 for black slacks
cab rides

n more to come... : ( save me! haha

It was a treat frm the MD of Ops sing.
For our hard work in the publications committee
haha. it wasn't really hard work,cut n paste work.
But the team was really forthcoming and amiable.
glad they were, or esle i'll just be stoning or keeping to myself.
Their convos revolved ard FOOD, GLORIOUS food. so lame la.
Anyhow, one of them asked me if i would wan to come back to work in a bank
Convo went like this,

Tc: So would u like to come back to work for a bank? (was wondering if UBS or other banks) haha
me: YEA!!! ( looking excited) i would like too! why not!!
Tc: Why so?
me: oooh, i find the environment really nice and conducive. People are really nice and err.. nicee..
Tc: Thats nice. wow, you're one of the few interns who actually said that (fades in the backgrd)

Felt so 'nice'! omg,just check the number of 'nices'. i think i spoilt my chances. haha
That particular convo was aint that good i guess, maybe i was just a bit lost for words! of all times!! It had to be during tt crucial time. a bad opportunist? hohoho.

Oh well, i pray i get a place here after i grad : )

incredibly heartwarming.

Diff paths we took.
Undertaking your dip & working simultaneously was not easy
but u pulled thru it all and i admired u for that!!

All thanks to u for forcing me to join this n that! haha
Joining the SJCkanektas was a life changing experience
Serving in ministry and spreading his love to the youths ard
Was something remarkably challenging and meaningful.
The Journey was super winding! planning fr retreats,events & camps!!
The pains and gains we went thru
W/o these obstacles, we would be stuck in our comfort zone forever !!
and we wld not being able to grow to see our potentials.
Of coz it doesn't stop here. It’ll continue, this winding journey.

Anyhow, im really glad tt u have found ur mission in life
And remember that I will always be there to support you

Is it time to scoot home!!
time flew exceptionally fast today, thats coz i had WORK to do, lots of them. haha
20mins to waste before i can leave the office?

Kinda pity Sharon, the other ntu intern.
She's really bogged down with lots of work and she looks awfully stressed up.
She had very late lunch due to that. Poor girl. Take it easy man!

Oh no, my Sup just rushed off!! i have yet to pass her my work : ( argh!!
she looked rather flustered. Apparently, she just had a long talk with her boss. hohoho
Liss later!!! Hope my mum would enjoy it and somehow they would understand and come to experience what i went through during Yiss. Spiritual renewal & rejuvenation..Good good.

Yay! i have officially started a blog after much contemplation.
Work's been kind to me but having nothing much to do can be irritating at times.
Just don't seem to learn as much.
nothing to do complain, so much things to do also complain. Ohh, humans! easily displeased.
My poor friends have been enduring my laments and am thankful for that.
Am thankful for the mail system that allows communication amongst the four of us.
At least, it does keep us sane and it sorta creates much more fun at work, reading our retarded mails.hohoho

Been slacking since i came in to work. Am seriously not utilised.Asked my sup for work yest but she had no work for me and she has yet to reply to my email. Am not even sure if i have to do any presentation or reports for her before i leave. No chance to leave much of an impression considering she's always not ard.

Anyhow, i made a couple of new friends and they've been a great bunch to hang out with, always joking ard, injecting joy at work. Pantry breaks are unduly looked forward to. Engaging in just small lame convos to keep us awake and light hearted chitchats just to pass time. haha. Imagine that!

Alrights,I shall end of here for my first post coz i seriously have no thoughts at the moment. Am gonna do some
scanning now.
