It was just so apt for me, at that point in time.

what i picked up from cj retreat:

cj retreat was awesome, brought back memories of my 1st three months.
inspiring bunch of catholics i must say.
My group was rather chatty and they impressed me with their thoughts.
Although it was a real short retreat, i'm sure the participants were moved in one way or another.
The retreat was a great awakening and enlightenment for me too.
Good discussions and sessions, certainly had a great time facilitating
kinda more fun then intercessory. haha : )

Now that it's over, ive gotta start on my 6 page assignment due tmr : (
more to come, but i'll persevere.

once in a while you'll still hear my rantings and laments. haha.

i can be such a procrastinator. boo hoo hooo.

sometimes, the issue of multi-racialism can be really intriguing.
yes, multi-racial, thats us.

But nonetheless, why must our identity cards display race as a form of identity.
the skin colour as a base for division.
If we're so multi-racial, why must this even be considered.

Other countries find it totally weird.
the french connection and the canadians in my socio class found it rather appalling. haha.

Oh well, maybe they're just trying to emphasise the CMIO identification tt we have, the unique culture apparent in law-abiding singaporeans?? My doubt continues to linger.

i neva fail to learn more during this tutorial of mine. it just keeps me so awake with the questions that chee han poses. right engeng? mind-bogling and thought provoking. The only pissant factors are the essays & projects.
But all in all, it is a module worth taking.

I'm feeling all 'soci' now. where is the 'finance' in me? i wonder. *raaa.

Carnival & fancydress at aunty jeet's skool house yest.
was there to give my support & to render my help.
i'm sure it turned out better than expected, the speech by the parents tt touched the hearts of the teachers
was undoubtedly the highlight of the day.
as usual, mom could not contain her emotions.


Tessa and Joshua came in their fancy outfits, Tessa came in a snow-white frock whilst Joshua was lil' peter pan. They managed to parade a bit on stage. haha
adorable creatures i must say.


The rest of the kids came in impressive outfits too, the creative 'blind mice' & the 'witches of kembangan'. These lil' kiddos do exude some confidence whilst some still shy away, as expected. The cute thai siblings came in their traditional outfits and bravely paraded on stage. They bowed with their hands tog in a very respectable manner, just like my waani babe. haha. right? mini cupcakes were given to each kid of Jeet's, a children's day token. I'm sure everyone present had a blast!! gratifying to see the children having the time of their life yest : )

In the midst of all these fun, i got myself a red bag and 2 pretty headbands. quenched : )
